Did you know that flies are flexible?

Another strange random fact: flies have 6 legs, wash themselves like cats, and are indeed very flexible!

While sitting in Michael's ute today, my attention was caught by a fly on the window doing its washing. I watched in amazement as it balanced on its front 4 legs and then used it back legs to clean its abdomen, AND its wings, including the upper sides of its wings! It then proceeded to balance on the back 4 legs and wash its face and head. I didn't know flies washed themselves with such attention to detail!!!
